When planning to go back to school while working full time, there is much to consider. Your thoughts probably begin with the school you would like to attend, what degrees they offer, platform options, what are the outcomes, financing, employee assistance, among a plethora of other considerations. To elevate a portion of this process; I am providing a tool to assist with your success!
Working full time while attending school is a challenge that I know all too well. Whether you are obtaining your associates, bachelor's, masters, or doctorate, adding this new component to your daily grind will increase the demands you have already placed on yourself.
While working towards my degrees, I had to make sure I was holding myself accountable with visibility to tasks and progress. I utilized a progress tracker to set SMART goals and see the advancement gained towards my degree. This kept me engaged and motivated during those days I needed a confidence boost. Below, I have linked a free tracker I created to help me stay focused and I hope it will do the same for you. This isn't exclusive to those working while attending school so feel free to use and share!
The tracker includes headers to add your student ID, course names, credits, completion status, notes for goal setting,
and anything you want to see at a glance. The completion status column has drop down boxes with pending, in progress, and complete. The file is editable so feel free to customize the documents to fit your preferences.
To access the progress tracker, click here and select make a copy to add the document to your google drive.

If you use or plan on using the progress tracker, you can reach out to me on Twitter and Instagram @TeachMsRoberson or comment on this blog below. Also, If you have any ideas for resources, feel free to send me a message and I will try to create and blog about the suggestion. I look forward to interacting with you!
